About Jonathan
What does “Development” mean to you?
Developing an idea
Developing new relationships
Developing resources
Design Development
Developing a team of great people working on great projects
I’ve been in and around theatre for 25+ years - acting, directing, writing, show-creation, teaching children’s programs, and as a professor on the university level, producing theatre and immersive experiences. With that experience, along with 10+ years specifically in business development for the themed entertainment industry, I have a lot of ideas about what development means and what is involved in the development process.
My journey to starting my own freelance/fractal business development company started with owning Putnam Den, a 500-person music venue in upstate New York. Soon after selling Putnam Den in 2017, I signed on to head up Business Development for Live Entertainment and Theatre at the global-design/fabrication-leader Adirondack Studios. Following my years at ADKS, I was the Director of Production for Cipriani Hospitality, running operations at four luxury event venues in New York City.
One night, after an event, sitting at The Odeon Restaurant in Tribeca, Manhattan, staring at a mirrored storefront across the street, I first had the idea for what would become Noedo Productions. I wanted to harness my experience and my industry relationships to help other companies and creatives develop their ideas, projects, and partnerships, and bring new and exciting ideas to fruition.
